BRUSH LETTERING

Brush lettering is a form of calligraphy, where you use brush pens to write letters. It's a quite simple technique with two main rules: create thin upstrokes and thick downstrokes by changing the amount of pressure while writing.

To start learning brush lettering you will need a brush pen and practice pad or lettering workbook with smooth paper. A small brush is much easier to control for beginners so we highly recommend choosing Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen with a hard tip or Pentel Fude Touch Brush Sign Pen or similar pens when you just starting.
