Shipping policy

Where do you ship?

We normally ship to Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, New Caledonia & Singapore only, but please reach out to us on hello@paperkooka.com.au if you would like us to add your country! :)

All orders are shipped from our small warehouse located in Mosman (Sydney’s lower north shore), NSW 2088, Australia, via Australia Post.

Orders are shipped to the shipping address provided. Please ensure your address is up to date as we are unable to refund or reship items if an order is sent to an incorrect address.

When will my order ship?

We dispatch most orders within 1-2 business days. You will be notified when your parcel has been shipped. Please note there may be some dispatch delays during periods around sales, Christmas and New Year.

How much is shipping?

Our shipping rates are determined by location and the total weight of your order. Paper Kooka offers FREE STANDARD SHIPPING on domestic orders over 150 AUD.

International Duties & Taxes

Orders shipped outside Australia (including New Zealand, Singapore, New Caledonia, and other international destinations) may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by the destination country.

These charges are not included in our prices or shipping rates, and Paper Kooka is not responsible for any additional fees incurred upon arrival.
Payment of these charges is the responsibility of the customer.

When will my order arrive?

I haven't received a shipping confirmation. What should I do?

Please contact us at hello@paperkooka.com.au if you haven't received a shipping confirmation email within 2 business days of placing your order, and provide an alternative way to contact you as sometimes emails from us bounce back, and in those cases, we will need a different way to contact you. Alternatively, you can contact us via our Instagram @paperkooka or Facebook @paperkooka.

What is your return policy?

We hope that your experience with shopping with us will be very happy and you will enjoy your purchase.

If you have received incorrect, damaged, or faulty items, please notify us within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange a refund, replacement, or exchange.

We generally do not accept returns or provide refunds or exchanges if you change your mind.

What if my parcel was returned to Paper Kooka by Australia Post?

Orders that have been returned to us by Australia Post due an incorrect address provided or due to failed collection from post office will be automatically cancelled. The store credit will be sent in a form of a gift card for the value of the order less the original shipping fee paid and less the 12.00 AUD restocking fee.

Example:

The order was made for one $30 item. The shipping cost for the express post to Victoria was $10. Total Order value: $40.

The order was shipped to the customer but no one was at home and no one collected the parcel from the post office so it was automatically returned to us.

We received the parcel, automatically cancelled the order and sent a store credit in a form of a gift card for the value of A$18 (A$40 order value minus A$10 express shipping to the customer and minus A$12 restocking fee). 

What if I want to cancel or edit my order?

In accordance with consumer law, we do not offer refunds if you change your mind or make a wrong selection, so please check your order carefully before checking out. 

If your order hasn't been packed yet we might be able to cancel or change it. Any credit owing as a result of an order change or cancellation will be returned as shop credit in a form of a gift card sent to your email address.
